Abstract

In a piezoelectric electroacoustic transducing device which is to be incorporated in an electronic apparatus such as a portable telephone, and which is used as a sound source, the sound pressure of the low-frequency range is improved, the productivity is improved, and acoustic characteristics are stabilized. A piezoelectric electroacoustic transducing devicehas: a frame; a piezoelectric vibratorin which piezoelectric elementsA,B are bonded to a metal plate; and a plate- and ring-like support memberwhich supports a peripheral portion of the piezoelectric vibratoron the frame. A stepC corresponding to the thickness of the metal plateis disposed in the support member, and the metal plateis adhered to the inside of the stepC in an embedded manner.
