Abstract
A method and an apparatus for dynamically checking the weight of objects (-) which are guided across a weight-sensitive zone () of a weighing device () at an adjustable conveying rate by a conveying mechanism (-). At regular intervals, the weight-sensitive zone () supplies individual measured weight values (E, . . . , E) from which resultant weight values are derived in a digital evaluation unit () by averaging. The evaluation unit () includes a plurality of cascaded averaging filters (-) which have different filter lengths that are varied by a common scaling factor depending on the conveying rate.
