Abstract
In a memory module, an address generating circuit, using the highest order bit of a row address output by a memory controller, will generate a highest order bit BAof a bank address insufficient for the purpose of identification of a memory cell targeted for access, and will output the bit to SDRAM. An operating mode detectordetects the operating mode of the memory controller. A switch controllerwill switch a switchon the basis of the detected operating mode.
