A fan module, particularly for cooling motor vehicle engines allows for improved cooling of the fan motor. The fan housing () in which the fan motor () is arranged has fixed air-channeling elements () which are arranged in the region of a fan hub () of the fan wheel () driven by the fan motor () and which only partially cover an outlet cross section () defined by the fan housing ().
