Abstract
The invention relates to an iron () having a sole () on top of which is formed a body () defining a handle and a sleeve (), said body () including at least one switch () associated with a function such as steam generation, characterised in that the sleeve () is mounted so as to be capable of movement relative to the body () and in that the switch () can be actuated by a mechanical member () secured to the sleeve ().
