Abstract
A logon management software application is executed in a print control device () connectable to an information processing device (), and performs the steps of: detecting if a hardware keyboard () is connected to the print control device during a logon process; displaying on a display () a first logon GUI for using the connected hardware keyboard if the connection of the hardware keyboard is detected; displaying on the display a second logon GUI, different to the first logon GUI, if the connection of the hardware keyboard is not detected; and controlling a logon of the print control device based on information entered into the first and/or second logon GUI dependent on whether the connection of the hardware keyboard is detected during at least part of the logon process.
