Abstract

The invention concerns a method wherein the mobile node () obtains respective temporary addresses with several access routers () of a telecommunication system detected by the mobile mode. It also collects data concerning the characteristics of said access routers, and transmits to a manager temporary addresses () of a mobility service provider a request for address selection (REQ) containing part at least of the collected data. The manager () processes said request to select one of the temporary addresses for the mobile node.
