Abstract

The invention relates to a turbocharger () comprising a bearing housing () which mounts a rotor shaft () and has a bearing-housing oil space (); comprising a compressor housing which is connected to the bearing housing () and has a compressor space (); and comprising a sealing device () which is provided for sealing the bearing-housing oil space () relative to the compressor space () and which has a sealing ring () which is arranged in a fixed position in the bearing housing () and has two end faces (') which interact with associated end faces () and () of a disc () and a sealing bush () which are fastened to the rotor shaft (), wherein the sealing ring () is arranged with axial play on the rotor shaft () between the disc () and the sealing bush (); and air-delivery devices () oriented in opposition are arranged in the end faces (′) of the sealing ring ().
