Abstract
A coil componentincludes: a pot core; a coilfor generating magnetic flux when a predetermined electric current is supplied; a piezoelectric actuatorfor changing the position of a movable core portionwith respect to the coilin response to a control signal supplied from the outside and for passing the movable core portionthrough the magnetic flux of closed magnetic-path, which is generated by the coil. Also, the piezoelectric actuatorincludes: a piezoelectric devicefor creating displacement in parallel with the thickness direction caused by the control signal, a moving bodyconnected to the piezoelectric deviceand the movable core portionfor moving the movable core portionin response to the displacement which occurred for the piezoelectric device, and a friction-drive rodfor rendering the moving bodymoved by the displacement which occurred for the piezoelectric deviceto be stationary at a predetermined position.
