Abstract

The invention provides a process for obtaining a hydrophobic/oleophobic coating on a substrate of a glass, ceramic or vitroceramic material by applying a priming layer obtained from a priming agent of formula: (X)(R)Si—R-Si(X),(R), the variables of which are defined in the specification and then depositing a hydrophobic coating containing a fluorinated alkylsilane.
