Abstract
The multi-step transmission including four gear sets, eight shafts, and six shifting elements. The sun gear of gearset (P) communicates, via shaft () and clutch (), with shaft (), which communicates, via clutch (), with shaft (), that couples the sun gear of the gearset (P), and communicates, via brake (), with a housing. The ring gear of gearset (P) couples shaft (), and communicates, via clutch (), with shaft (), which couples the carriers of the gearsets (P, P). The carrier of gearset (P) is connected, via shaft (), to a component, which connects the ring gear of gearset (P) to the sun gear of gearset (P). The carrier of gearset (P) communicates, via shaft() and brake (), with the housing. The sun gear of gearset (P) communicates, via shaft () and brake (), with the housing. The output shaft couples the ring gears of gearsets (P, P).
