Abstract
The invention relates to an electric connector () having electric contact elements () to which an electric contact may be established using contacts of a matching plug by insertion of the plug into the electric connector () via an outlet (), said electric connector also comprising a hollow space () in which a substantial intermediate length of one or more electric contact elements () is exposed via an upper input (), and a dust cover (), attachable in a removable fashion via the upper input () in order to prevent impurities from entering the hollow space ().
