Abstract
It is prevented that magnetic foreign matter adheres the magnet encoderto deteriorate the reliability of rotation speed detection with the sensor. The encoderis provided on the outside of the combined seal ringwith reference to the bearing interior space, and the sensorfaces the encoder. The knuckleis placed close to the housingof the drive shaft memberof the constant velocity jointto form a labyrinth seal. The width of the clearance of this labyrinth sealis up to 40% of the pitch of adjacent S-poles and N-poles that are arranged on the detected surface of the encoder. With this construction, larger foreign matter is prevented from attaching to the detected surface of the encoderto solve the above subject.
