Abstract
A cash handling systemhas an upper unitmounted on a lower unit. The upper unithas a cash slot, first bill transfer openingsto, and a conveyor line. The lower unithas a second bill transfer opening, cash cartridges, and a conveyor line. The conveyor linehas multiple conveyance branch pathstoprovided corresponding to multiple first bill transfer openingsto. This arrangement enables the position of the cash slot to be readily changeable relative to the cash cartridges.
