The invention relates to a method for the qualitative and quantitative analysis of samples by optical emission spectroscopy with laser excitation (), using a database created on single-element aqueous solutions all having the same pure element concentration, this database containing, for each element, the wavelengths of the emission lines and their respective intensities.
