Abstract
On a surface of an anode memberhaving a valve action, a cathode layeris formed, and at a terminal lead-out faceat one end of the anode member, an anode wireis led out of it; thus a capacitor elementis formed. An anode terminalis joined to the anode wire. A cathode terminalis joined to the cathode layer. A protective layerof resin covers part or all of the capacitor element. A packaging memberof resin harder than the protective layercovers around the capacitor elementincluding the protective layerand the anode wireto form a package. The protective layerhas a larger linear expansion coefficient than the packaging member. The mass ratio of the packaging memberto the total mass of the packaging memberand the protective layerbetween the terminal lead-out faceand the exterior face of the packaging memberopposite the terminal lead-out faceis 50% or more.
