Abstract
An electrolytic capacitor is provided having an airtight casing, electrodes immersed in an electrolytic solution, electrical contacts connected to the electrodes, and a means () for sorption of harmful substances. The means for sorption of harmful substances includes a polymeric housing () permeable to the harmful substances but impermeable to the electrolytic solution and contain one or more getter materials () for sorption of the harmful substances.
