Abstract
This invention discloses continuous functional monitoring of distributed network activity using algorithms based on frequency moment calculations given byF=Σm.The frequency moment calculations are used to raise an alarm when a value exceeds a certain threshold. Frequency moments for p=0, 1, and 2 are described.
