Abstract

A multilayered sliding member has a resin composition filled in pores of, and coated on the surface of, a porous sintered metal layerformed on the surface of a metallic backing plate. The resin composition is formed by compounding a phosphate, a carbon black, a melt moldable fluororesin, and a PTFE serving as a principal component, and is preferably formed by further containing graphite and/or a low molecular weight PTFE.
