Abstract

The invention relates to a monitor device on board for a motor vehicle, with a monitor () which can be drive-displaced, by means of a drive mechanism (), from an inactive position in a recess () of a dashboard (), through an opening () of the recess (), into an active position outside the recess (), as well as from the active position into the inactive position, wherein a covering () closing the opening () in the inactive position can furthermore be drive-displaced in a coupled manner by means of the drive mechanism () into the active position in which the opening () is exposed.
