Abstract
In a film bonding machineincluding a laser oscillation meansfor oscillating laser for processing a tapebonded onto an end surfaceof a columnar honeycomb structural bodyby the laser oscillated from the laser oscillation means, the film bonding machinefurther includes an image pick-up meanshaving a moving type or tilt type mirrorcapable of reflecting the end surfaceof the honeycomb structural bodyonto the same axis as the laser oscillation meansby reflected light and an image pick-up unitfor picking up the image of the end surfaceof the honeycomb structural bodyreflected by the mirror. In the film bonding machine, the processing position of the tapebonded onto the end surfaceof the honeycomb structural bodycan be recognized by the image-pick meanson the same axis as the laser oscillation means. As a result, the tape bonded onto the end surface of the honeycomb structural body can be accurately processed by the laser.
