Abstract

A method for calculating the power consumption of a mobile device, particularly of a mobile station of a mobile radio system, in an observation period Δt based on various possible system states sin which the device can be in the period Δt. A value of a quantity Δis determined system-state-dependently for the system states soccurring in the period Δt. The power consumption in the period Δt is calculated in such a manner that the quantities Δand state-dependent typical currents iare taken into consideration.
