An ink set for ink-jet recording includes a plurality of color inks, wherein the following formulae (a) to (d) are satisfied.Light OD reduction rate (%)=[()/]×100  (a)Ozone OD reduction rate (%)=[()/]×100  (b)Total OD reduction rate (%)=<about 40%  (c)max−min<about 15%  (d)'A' and 'B' are OD values before and after a light fastness test for a first single-color patch, respectively, and “c” and “D” are OD values before and after an ozone resistance test for a second single-color patch, respectively. “Zmax” and “Zmin” are a maximum and a minimum of all the total OD reduction rates (Z), respectively.
