Abstract
Blend an ethylene/alkyl acrylate copolymer and an ethylene/α,β-ethylenically unsaturated carboxylic acid copolymer in a weight ratio of more than 1:1 and convert the blend to a film that has adhesive properties. The film is particularly suitable for use as an external adhesive layer in a multilayer film structure. Such multilayer film structures may be used, for example as a strippable protective film for any of a variety of surfaces such as freshly painted metal surfaces.
