Abstract
In an example embodiment a convenience outlet includes a housing, a face plate configured to receive an electrical plug, a terminal assembly within the housing, and a tamper-resistant module enclosed within the housing between the faceplate and the terminal assembly. The housing may be configured to install within an aperture of an outlet assembly housing. The housing may include a notch for engaging a protrusion on the aperture of the outlet assembly housing. The convenience outlet may be installed in a variety of different outlet assembly housings. The convenience outlet provides multiple methods to electrical connection with a power source.
