Abstract
In a vibration isolation device, a connection rodpenetrates through a cavity partof a rubber elastic bodyand the inner circumferential side of a main body plate. In addition, a stopper rubberfixed on the outer circumferential side of a rod main bodyof the connection rodis placed in the cavity partof the rubber elastic body. This allows the rod main bodyaligned in overlying relation with the rubber elastic bodyalong the axial direction of the connection rodto be stored in the device. Thus, a stopper memberfixed to the rod main bodyof the connection rodcan form a stopper mechanism. Therefore, while suppressing the increase in dimension along the axial direction of the device, the dimension along the axial direction of the device can be prevented from expanding by the stopper mechanism for preventing the excessive displacement along the direction orthogonal to the axis of the connection rod
