Abstract
A method for the preparation of (CF)CHOCHF (Sevoflurane) is presented, which comprises providing a mixture of (CF)CHOCHCl, potassium fluoride, water, and a phase transfer catalyst and reacting the mixture to form (CF)CHOCHF.
