Abstract
A device and process for extracting plastic preforms () from holders. Said device comprises a plate (), which features straight slits () positioned parallel to each other, that is attached to a supporting table (). Each slit () comprises wider sections and constrictions (), which have a width (L) smaller than the diameter of the ring () of the preform, so that the ring () can be fitted into the slit () through the wider section. The plate () is moved in the direction <<D>> by a specific length until the constrictions are positioned under the ring, and, thus, the preforms are removed by moving the plate away from the holders.
