Abstract
The invention relates to a combination of compounds and a process using such combination useful for reducing or preventing coke formation in thermal cracking furnaces such as ethylene steam crackers. The combination is comprised of one or more compound of the formula R—S—R' and one or more compound selected from the following group: RRCS; RRC═CRR; RSH; RSR; RRCH; RRRR(CS); and RRRRRRSiO.
