Abstract
A electronic device () includes a removable chip card () for carrying information, comprise a housing () and a ejecting mechanism (). The housing () defines a chamber () and a base () formed adjacent to the chamber. The chamber () is used for accommodating a battery () therein. The base () is used for receiving the chip card () therewith. The ejecting mechanism () is mounted in the housing () and includes a sliding member () and an elastic member (). When the battery () is accommodated in the chamber (), the chip card () is secured between the sliding member () and the battery (). When the battery () is removed from the chamber (), the elastic member () biases the sliding member () to eject the chip card () outwardly from the base ().
