Abstract
An exemplary liquid crystal display () includes a liquid crystal panel, a gate driving circuit (), and a data driving circuit (). The liquid crystal panel includes a pixel array (), a short-circuit test circuit (), and a control circuit (). The short-circuit test circuit and the control circuit cooperatively form a discharging circuit. When the liquid crystal display is powered off, electric charge stored in the liquid crystal panel is discharged through the discharging circuit. The gate driving circuit is configured for scanning the liquid crystal panel. The data driving circuit is configured for providing gray-scale voltages to the liquid crystal panel when the liquid crystal panel is scanned.
