The present invention relates to a method of producing polyhydroxyalkanoates (PHAs) usingsp. with succinate as a carbon source. The PHAs comprise more than 95% of poly(3-hydroxyvalerate-co-4-hydroxyvalerate) (P3HV-co-P4HV).
