Abstract
A sample () is supplied into a sample reservoir () (see (A)). A voltage is applied by an electrode () to introduce the sample into a capillary () filled with a separation medium (see (B)). A liquid () for replacement having a larger specific gravity than the sample () is supplied into the sample reservoir (), and the sample () remaining in the sample reservoir () is replaced with the liquid () for replacement (see (C)).
