Abstract
The present invention discloses a connector sheath () adapted to be used in a cable connector assembly, comprising a T-shaped main insulation bushing (), an inner semiconductive shield layer () disposed in the T-shaped main insulation bushing and integrally formed with the T-shaped main insulation bushing; and an outer semi-conductive shield layer () disposed on an outer surface of the T-shaped main insulation bushing and integrally formed with the T-shaped main insulation bushing. The T-shaped main insulation bushing is generally made of an elastic insulation material having a dielectric constant value in the range from about 5 to about 15. The present invention also discloses a cable connector assembly having a connector sheath.
