Abstract

The present invention relates to an information processing device, an information processing method, an information processing program, and a recording medium for said program, which are designed to facilitate the editing process and permit the recording medium to be used conveniently. The edit list editing unitgenerates the edit list (which is information about the result of editing) according to information of various kinds which has been generated by editing in the clip data editing unit. The resulting edit list is stored in the memory unit. At this time, the edit list editing unitgenerates the clip metadata for the edit list according to the clip metadata of the clips to be edited, which do not need to be in real time. The edit list editing unitgenerates the discontinuous point of the LTC corresponding to the video data of the clip to be edited and also generates the conversion table for the frame number. The present invention will be applied to the assistance system for video program production.
