A moweris provided for cutting grass where the mowerincludes a bodywith a mower deck, a motor, a baffle, and a battery. The mower deckhas a downwardly-open interior within which grass is cut. The motoris supported upon the mower deckand supplies a motive force for a mowing operation where the motorincludes at least a portion operable by electrical energy.
