Abstract
An endoscope cleaning/disinfecting apparatusaccording to the prevent invention includes an apparatus bodyincluding a cleaning tankfor storing an endoscope retaining trayin which an endoscopeis stored, a top coverprovided to the apparatus bodyand caused by a cover body opening/closing mechanism unit to rotationally move between an open-state stop position and a closed-state stop position, a wireless tagprovided to either one of the endoscope retaining trayand the endoscopestored in the endoscope retaining trayand transmitting information for identifying the type of the endoscope, a wireless receiver unitprovided to the apparatus bodyand receiving the information of the wireless tag, and a control unitprovided to the apparatus bodyand determining whether or not to cause an opening movement of the top coveron the basis of the information obtained by the wireless receiver unitto thereby control the rotational movement by the cover body opening/closing mechanism unit. Accordingly, cleaning and disinfection of the used endoscope can be hygienically and effectively performed.
