Abstract
An electrical connector () including an insulative housing (), a plurality of contacts () and a pair first insulators (). The insulative housing () has a body portion () and a tongue () extending from the body portion (). The tongue () defines a plurality of passageways () at two sides thereof. Each contact () has a securing portion (), a contact portion () extending to the tongue () from the securing portion () and a tail portion () extending out of the insulative housing (). The contact portions () are arranged in two rows and respectively located at two sides of the tongue (). Each first insulator () is insert molded around the securing portions () corresponding to the contact portions () of each row. Each first insulator () has a first post () and a first recess () at an inner side thereof to engage with each other.
