A system () for communicating multimedia messages includes a multimedia message server () that is operable to transmit () visual media, a vibration melody (), and an audio segment () that is preferably filtered () to exclude frequencies of the vibration melody () through a network () to a client device (), and is operable to, preferably at a later time, to transmit instructions () to the client device () to output the vibration melody (), audio segment () and visual media. At the client device, () the audio segment () and the vibration melody () and visual media are preferably stored () in a memory () and in response to the instruction signal are read () from the memory (), decoded () and output () to a user.
