An apparatus for feeding items of laundry to a mangle having loading clamps () arranged on conveyors () having endless toothed belts (), the loading clamps () being driven in circulation, and if the respective toothed belts () are assigned a plurality of the loading clamps (), the cycle times can be reduced.
