Abstract

A computer storing a print control program, the program, and a recording medium containing the program according to the present invention control access from the computer to a printer in the kernel mode. When access is made from an application program () to a printer (), a spooler () operates. An access request is detected in response to an event occurring when the spooler () operates. A common interface driver () controls data output to the printer () at a filter () or the spooler () according to a control condition previously registered in a control condition database ().
