Abstract

When the on-on time between Noteand Noteis shorter than the double stop judgment time JT, as shown in FIG.A, the mode is changed from Unisonto Unison. When note-on information of Noteis inputted at time t, the parts-are assigned to Note, and simultaneously start sound generation at pitch n, as shown in FIG.B. Next, when note-on information of Noteat pitch nlower than Noteis inputted at time t, the mode is switched to Unison. Part(with the timbre being trumpet) and Part(with the timbre being clarinet) which are higher in the pitch order are assigned to Note, and continue generating the musical sound at pitch nof Note, and Part(with the timbre being alto saxophone) and Part(with the timbre being trombone) which are lower in the pitch order are assigned to Note, stop the sound generation at pitch n, and start sound generation at pitch nof Note
