Abstract

A plug-in connector () for printed circuit boards includes a two-part housing and a number of contact elements (), each of the contact elements () having two connection sides. One connection side is designed as a contact for connecting leads and the other connection side is designed as a plug-in contact for a printed circuit board. In addition, the contact element () has an interface, which is used to connect overvoltage protection elements. The first housing part () is designed with recesses (), into which double-pole surge voltage protectors () are inserted. The contact element () has a contact surface () that is designed as an interface to a surge voltage protector () and projects into the recess (), contacting a first pole of the surge voltage protector (). The other pole of the surge voltage protector () is contacted by a grounding element.
