Abstract
The invention describes a friction lining () comprising a binding agent matrix () and friction particles (), which binding agent matrix () forms a coating with a pre-definable coating thickness. A proportion of the friction particles () selected from a range with a lower limit of 20% and an upper limit of 100%, by reference to the total quantity of the friction particles (), has a diameter which is bigger than the coating thickness of the binding agent matrix ().
