Abstract

An optical touch panelincludes: a coordinate input region; a light-emitting elementwhich emits light in a near-infrared region; a light-receiving elementwhich receives light in visible and near-infrared regions; a light-emitting sided-optical waveguideconnected to the light-emitting elementand having an output end; and a light-receiving sided-optical waveguideconnected to the light-receiving elementand having an input end. The output endof the light-emitting sided-optical waveguideand the input endof the light-receiving sided-optical waveguideare located on opposite sides of the coordinate input region. The light-receiving sided-optical waveguidehas an organic colored layerprovided on at least part of a surface thereof. The organic colored layerhas a lower light transmittance in a visible light region than in a near-infrared region.
