Abstract
The present invention relates to a photoelectric conversion device sensitized by supporting a methine based dye represented by the following formula (1): (in the above formula, n represents an integer of 0 to 7; X and Y each represent a hydrogen atom, an optionally substituted aromatic residue, an optionally substituted aliphatic hydrocarbon residue and the like.
