A lens barrier deviceincludes a pair of lens barrier membershaving a pair of toggle-lever engagement bosses, a ringhaving a pair of recessesformed on its outer circumferential part, a pair of toggle levershaving a pair of triangular cam partand a base framesupporting the toggle levers, and a pair of torsion springsengaged with the toggle leversand the base frame. In assembling, the toggle-lever engagement bossesare freely fitted into the recesses, respectively.
