Abstract

A plasma display member comprises a plurality of substantially stripe-shaped address electrodes () formed on a substrate (), a dielectric layer () covering the address electrodes, main barrier ribs () located on the dielectric layer and formed substantially in parallel with the address electrodes, and auxiliary barrier ribs () formed orthogonal to the main barrier ribs. In the plasma display member, the pitch (Pt) between the outermost main barrier rib of the main barrier ribs located in the non-display region on both sides in the lateral direction of a display region and the main barrier rib adjacent to the outermost main barrier rib is integer times the pitch (Pt) between the main barrier ribs located in the display region, where the integer is two or more. In addition, exposure processing is performed a plurality of times by using a photomask having a specific shape, thereby making it possible to obtain a plasma display having a high display quality and a high productivity.
