Abstract

According to the present invention, a stable operation of an actuator is realized. An actuatoraccording to the present invention includes: a movable section; a stationary sectionfor supporting the movable section; driving electrode portionsandfor driving the movable section; and a repulsion generation sectionfor generating a repulsion acting between the movable sectionand the stationary section. The repulsion generation sectionis provided at a position of the stationary sectionopposing the movable section. At least a portion of the repulsion generation sectionopposes an end of the movable sectionthat is located closer to the movable comb electrodesthan to hinges. By applying the same driving voltage to the movable sectionand the repulsion generation section, a repulsion is generated. The repulsion acts in a direction of suppressing a rotation of the movable sectionaround an axis which is perpendicular to the planar direction of the movable section
