Abstract
An electric motor () includes a stationary shaft-shaped central portion () extending through respective central portions of an inner rotor (), an outer rotor (), and a stator (), and a cooling structure () provided using the interiors of the stator and the shaft-shaped central portion. The motor can be used as an in-wheel motor for directly driving each wheel of the motor vehicle.
